Somewhere beneath the Spanish government lies a ministry that officially does not exist. Its corridors connect, through a series of guarded doors, to every era of Spain's past. When those doors are breached β by opportunists, foreign agents, or anyone with reason to rewrite history β a patrol is sent in to stop them.
The three agents at the heart of the series could hardly be more different. JuliΓ‘n is a paramedic from the present, still recovering from a personal loss that has left him with little regard for his own safety. Amelia is a nineteen-century university student, intellectually formidable and entirely out of place in the modern world. Alonso is a sixteenth-century soldier, disciplined and honour-bound, not entirely comfortable taking orders from a woman. Together they move through some of the most vivid and consequential moments in Spanish history, from the Invincible Armada to the Residencia de Estudiantes where DalΓ and Lorca once argued about art.
Created by Javier and Pablo Olivares, the series balances adventure and comedy with a genuine affection for Spain's cultural memory. It won the Ondas Award for Best Spanish Series in its debut year and took the Feroz Award for Best Drama Series in 2017.
