Hotel Lasierra has just earned its fourth star, and the timing could hardly be worse. Clara, a childhood friend of the Lasierra daughters, returns to the small Spanish town of Vera carrying a secret that threatens to unravel the family entirely. Her arrival forces four very different women, bound by blood, history, and the daily grind of running a hotel, to either hold things together or watch everything fall apart.

Rita, the iron-willed matriarch, has spent decades preserving appearances at enormous personal cost. Silvia is the practical one, quietly keeping the business alive. Marta has always done exactly as she pleased. Clara herself is a survivor, though the truth she carries may be harder to survive than anything that came before.

Romantic entanglements run alongside the family drama, from a rebellious priest stirring unexpected feeling among his parishioners to young love forming in unlikely corners of the hotel. Secrets arrive with new characters, including a returning relative fleeing real danger in Mexico, and old wounds keep opening just as fresh ones form.

Produced by RTVE and Good Mood, this long-running Spanish series ran across 2023 and 2024, building its world through richly drawn characters and the particular comedy that comes from families who know each other far too well.
