Madrid, 1913. The six Silva sisters are fixtures of high society, known for their beauty, education, and grace. Their world changes irrevocably when their father dies, leaving the family's fabrics business in crisis and no one to run it but them.
Each sister brings a different temperament to the struggle. Adela, the eldest, carries the weight of the family on her shoulders while wrestling privately with guilt and an impossible love. Blanca, raised to be a perfect wife, begins to question the life she was promised. Diana, stubborn and enterprising, is determined to prove that a woman can lead. Celia guards a secret that society would never accept. Francisca pursues a singing career that crosses the boundaries of her class. And Elisa, the youngest and most protected, is slowly waking up to a world more complicated than she knew.
Set against the elegant interiors of upper-class Madrid and the rougher textures of working-class life, Six Sisters is a period drama built around character. The constraints of the era are felt rather than explained, and the emotional stakes are personal before they are political. A Spanish production from Bambú Producciones and RTVE, the series ran from 2015 to 2017.
