Every time Lamine Yamal scores, he shapes his hands into three digits: 304. The postal code of Rocafonda, a neighbourhood in Mataró where his paternal grandmother, Fàtima, has lived since leaving Morocco more than four decades ago. For Yamal, now one of the most talked-about young footballers in the world and winner of the Kopa Trophy, the gesture is a declaration of where he comes from.
This documentary, directed by Jesús Muñoz, Santi Padró, and Xavi Torres for 3Cat, takes that gesture as its starting point. Alongside Yamal, four other young Catalans of African immigrant origin share their stories: singer and actress Yolanda Sey, actress Tamara Ndong, teacher Amine Toumi, and comedian and content creator Mohamed Lamine, known as Wiz Problema. Together, they speak candidly about racism, identity, belonging, and what it means to grow up in a Catalonia that is still learning to see itself clearly.
The film moves between personal biography and social inquiry, grounded in specific places and lived experience rather than abstraction. It is a portrait of a generation asserting its right to be fully part of the country it calls home.
