Rolli and the Secret of All Time

In the magical Rolli Village, trolls, elves, and all manner of strange creatures live in cheerful, unhurried contentment. Among them are Rolli, a good-natured troll with a personality all his own, and Juniper, a young elf girl with a persistent question she has never been able to answer: where did she actually come from?

When word reaches them that somewhere beyond mountains, forests, and the sea lies a place known as the Beginning of All Time, the two friends cannot let it rest. Both arrived in Rolli Village as bundles dropped from the sky, and the mystery of their origins has always lingered. So they go.

What follows is a classic quest, full of unlikely companions, unexpected obstacles, and the particular warmth of a friendship tested by a long road. The film carries the gentle comedy and distinctive spirit of the Rolli character, long beloved in Finland, while telling a story that any child old enough to wonder about beginnings will feel immediately.

Directed by Taavi Vartia and led by Allu Tuppurainen and Linnéa Röhr, this Finnish fantasy feature is family entertainment with genuine heart, built around one of the oldest and most quietly urgent questions imaginable.
